ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 15

Welcome to Week 15 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week started out with some Light BLUE scrap sewing.  Aside from that, I've got a laundry list of projects to finish, but little motivation.

Let's see if that attitude corrected itself...

SUNDAY - Yesterday was the beginning of the Follow Your Own Path QAL with Sandra @ MMMQuilts.  Thank you to Susan @ Farm Quilter for inviting me to quilt along with her!

Today, Sew Some Love Sunday was a near miss, as I spent the afternoon happily sorting...

... And sewing my Light BLUE scraps:

MONDAY - As you may or may not know, this tends to be my writing day.  A new Mini Monday post went live this afternoon.  If you liked my Salt and Sand Blog Hop project, you are NOT going to want to miss this!  Here is a preview:

TUESDAY - This morning I decided on my projects for the Spring 2021 (Ravelry) UFO Club.  Find my LIST HERE.

After lunch, I sorted through some fabric scraps.  It was a good way to spend some time before...

Today's Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color.  We decided we liked Tuesday for the month of April, as our last couple of sessions on that day went well.  Here we are, two happy quilters, having a Quilt Talk:

I worked on stitching these TWO projects while we talked:

WEDNESDAYI released a new edition of Wonderful Wednesday.  I also did a bit of quilting:

THURSDAY - ZoomBEE... LIVE!!!  That's right.  My Weekly Quilt Group opted for an In-Person (driveway) meeting today.  Would you BELIEVE that I forgot to get a group photo today???  It's true.  I forgot.  You will have to settle with a photo of me...

Here I am, sporting my Bright and/or Light BLUE in honor of April's Color of the Month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge:

FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT met, had some technical difficulties and when the meeting resumed, another of our members and a guest arrived.  A while later, one more member logged in, but I didn't get a second group photo for the day:

I worked on the quilt on the longarm after lunch and did a bit of Bright BLUE sewing during my breaks:

After dinner...

I did some digging in my project boxes, bags, and bins.  Since my Picket Star block collection (from Preeti @ Sew Preeti Quilts) already has a Light BLUE block made during RSC20, I didn't need to make another:

SATURDAY - It's Link Party day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!

  1. Your pineapple quilt is so bright and pretty! I recognized Pretti’s neat Picket Star block. Love it in light blue.

  3. You have so much energy, zoom knitting? Knitting with assistance for me, so it take a long time to knit. Love the blues.

  4. I love your blue picket star, but your curved coastal landscape is stunning! I intend making "Follow your own path" too, but I still need to buy background fabric, so I don't know when I will be able to start.
