Welcome to another edition of Wonderful Wednesday!! I'm here to share a look at the scrap bags that came in during the months of February and March 2021. I try to keep up with the posting, but didn't quite manage it this time.
Thank you to the following fabulous quilty friends, who SEW generously passed along some really usable fabric scraps...
Maggie packaged up some squares, triangles and strips. If you look closely, you will see another strip of one of the fabrics used to bind my March Table Scraps Challenge:
Diane H. shared a random assortment of patterns, small project kits, along with some bright and cheerful scraps. I rooted through it all, but can't recall if I ended up using any of the strippy bits yet:
Candy can always be counted on for yellow scraps, this time, they were accompanied by a variety of red and gray pieces and some teal was hidden in the depths of the bag:
And...
Jean F. provided the motherload! Her offering was a tall kitchen trash bag which was three-quarters filled with solids, prints, and a whole lot of batik scraps in various shapes and sizes:
Fabric overload, Joyful???
Nah!! I will sort through and see what I think will be used for my quilt making and pass along the rest. Win-win!
Until next time...
Got SCRAPS???
How fun to be able to dig through those scrap bags and find fabrics for your quilt. Have fun. Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteGenerous friends indeed! Have fun playing with the chunks and the bits.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet that your friends share their treasures with you!
ReplyDeleteI can barely deal with my own scraps, let alone import more from the outer world. But it is fun to play with other people's scraps.
