ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC18 - Week 38

Welcome to Week 38 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  I'm sorry to say that I won't be checking in with the RSC Quilters this weekend.  I am out of town.  Here's how my week looked...

SUNDAY - Scrap sewing with a side of dark BLUE:

MONDAY - Another evening of scrap sewing.  There was more dark BLUE in the mix:

TUESDAY - Packing.  Before the night before a trip?  ROFL!!  Probably not, but I did do one last load of laundry.  :P

WEDNESDAY - Panic!!!  Nope. I actually took care of almost EVERYTHING last night!  Including additional dark BLUE scrap sewing:

THURSDAY - Up at the crack of dawn and on the road.  Assuming we arrived safely, I'm busy figuring out what a Knitting Retreat is all about.  I'll fill you in later.

Update...

Here we all are at the opening ceremonies:

FRIDAY - The first full day of Into the Wool.  You'll hear more about that later.  Right now, I'm busy with classes.

Random roommate sighting!!  Here's my roommate, Tammy, enjoying her Quilted Yarn Bowl:

SATURDAY - It's the second full day of Into the Wool.  Again, you'll have to wait for additional information.  Today, I'm knitting (with a side of shopping.  It's not my fault there's a Vendor Mall!!)

Linking up (and posting REALLY late) since there was spotty connectivity at Into the Wool (and no time to post when I got home.)

I want to thank Libby at Hillside Quilter for coming out to visit me:

Into The Wool was AWESOME!!  Good food, good company, good fun.  I would DEFINITELY go again, if my schedule meshes with the retreat dates!  More about that in a future post.  Right now, I've got to get some sleep, as I've driven/ridden 500 miles today.  Thanks for understanding (if there are typos or missing links.) I'm exhausted!!

Until next time...

Wonderful Wednesday - Sew Saturday in Knightdale

Welcome to another edition of Wonderful Wednesday!!  Today, I'm here to tell you about the September Sew Saturday event a couple weeks ago with my Raleigh quilt friends.  Yes, I'm late with the post... AGAIN!!  (I'm out of town and there's limited internet, but more about that later.)

Lois secured a space for us. While it seemed farther away, it didn't take any more time than going to Garner. Unless you count the stop Britt and I made at DS1's apartment in Raleigh!!  (I had hand-me-down groceries to pass along.)

Eventually, we made it to Knightdale Baptist Church.  I got right to work (documenting our day.)

Verbiage to follow, as bandwidth allows. Thanks for your understanding.

Until next time...
Put in a good days work!!
