The April TABLE SCRAPS Link Party will be open from 12:01 AM on Friday, April 24th - Sunday, April 26th at 11:59 PM (EDT). Looking forward to seeing YOU and your project there (completed or in the works)!! If you are running late, double check the Link Party clock, as last time it remained open for an extra amount of time.
Here is my entry for the Table Scraps challenge for April. I know you have Veterans Day and Memorial Day, in Oz we have ANZAC Day (April) and Remembrance Day (November).
The poem, Just once a year was written by my younger brother, sadly now deceased.

The ANZAC Salute shows a couple of badges from WW2.

so special
ReplyDeleteYour table top is so inspiring. What a beautiful remembrance.
ReplyDeleteI will make my Anzac day cookies (biscuits), on Sunday.
Have a wonderful Holiday weekend.
A beautiful way to remember those who served for Freedom. I worry that the generation after us "baby boomers" who had fathers and grandfathers who fought will forget WW2,WW1, Vietnam,& Korea. They now remember the wars in in the Middle East. What you made is an excellent reminder for generations to come.
