SUNDAY - Sew Some Love Sunday
This afternoon, I went over to Knittingsuek's house to help her with the new/old Pfaff sewing machine she bought yesterday. Here we are when she dropped me off then. She was beaming with happiness at finally finding one at a good price:
Today, in maintenance mode, she's ecstatic because the machine is all lubed up and working well. My job is training for proper use:
MONDAY - Mini Monday
And a bit of RED sewing to finish off the month of May...
The 2021 RSC Sampler Full Stop Exclamation Point:
Angela also posted a PAPER PIECED version of the Exclamation Point, but I did the traditionally pieced block:
As a leader/ender for that, I sewed my 3-D Flying Geese together for my Nature, Baby! quilt:
I also sewed pairs of rows together for my Rainbow, Baby! quilt:
TUESDAY - Tidy Up Tuesday
The new Color of the Month for June is...
PURPLE
Here are the scraps that I have to work with:
Another Hands2Help post went live this evening. My Hometown Hero post was released a couple of weeks ago. The last of my H2H quilts will be in tomorrow's report.
WEDNESDAY - A special edition of Wonderful Wednesday was released today. I had a little help from my friends with a couple of quilts for this year's Comfort Quilt Challenge.
This afternoon, I enjoyed my weekly Zoom meeting with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
She was busy tempting me with Ginger Orange Molasses cookies:
THURSDAY - Eleven quilters met for ZoomBEE, but I forgot to take the group shot until after Needleb went back to work:
Sorry, B!!
After lunch, I found a fun scrap of PURPLE to play with. I wonder what this might become in the coming weeks:
A new series of posts began this evening. Check out Community Quilts from The Junction.
FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT met this morning, but I couldn't stay long. I inadvertently took the group photo before Stacy joined the meeting and left before remembering to grab another with her in it:
Sorry about that, Stacy!!
SATURDAY - It's Link Party day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!
Seems like a busy week in your little corner of the world. I wonder what you will make with all those purple scraps!

ReplyDeleteSince I couldn't decide which purple flower to highlight in this month's Table Scraps, I'm using them all! Probably won't get much done today, though, since it's going to 90 and we don't have AC. A day to sit and do quiet things in front of the fan.
