ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 24


Welcome to Week 24 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week I hope to play with some PURPLE fabric scraps.  We'll see how that goes, as I've been a bit distracted with a BIG decluttering job.


MONDAY - While listening for the mail truck...

TUESDAY - Tidy Up Tuesday

Since I need to get serious about quilting a waiting quilt, I headed to Knittingsuek's house to pick-up a portion of my share of the roll of batting we split.  Sorry, no picture.  :o((

On the way home, I dropped off the first of my H2H quilts at the post office.  One down, 3 to go.

While we were on our call, I searched for this month's PURPLE scraps for making my (future) House block and Picket Star.



THURSDAY - Weekly Quilt Group LIVE!!!  Candy was the hostess at Maggie's back porch:


Mission accomplished.  After the meeting, I mailed off the last of my H2H quilts (and Needleb's, too!)

While I was waiting for yesterday's Zoom call with LeeAnna, I decided to start on my Positivity QAL blocks.  Here is my first one:


Somehow, I had managed to cut some of the pieces incorrectly and photographed prior to pressing.  :o((

FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT...


... Was followed by finishing up some paperwork and another rummage through my closet to see what else can go.

SATURDAY - It's Link Party day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  There's sure to be lots of PURPLE!  If that's one of you favorite colors, you're not going to want to miss it.  (Angela's on vacation time this week, so I'll link up once her party goes live.)

    Busy week for you! Decluttering huh.... I need to do that big time.... but keep managing to put it off! I need to look into that positivity quilt... but not sure I can squeeze it in.

    Looks like you found some pretty purples to play with! A porch visit with your quilt group sounds like fun, too. Great start on some Positivity blocks - I haven't gotten to that yet, but it's on my list!
