Deciding on what to make this time was SEW easy!!
Not only had Turid indicated what she would like for her prize, she also shares my favorite color (rainbow!) and my love of all things scrappy. All I had to do was dig through my scrap stash to find something that spoke to me:
The rainbow brights came from my friend Maureen and have been in my scrap stash for several years, just waiting for the right project. The spotty, dotty background came in a recent scrap infusion from my friend Dee Dee:

The lining also came from Dee Dee's recent scrap bag which she had been collecting since the beginning of the year.
The next day, a garden tour showed the same blooming Iris...

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice little thread-catcher, as a sweet gift for your giveaway winner. I'm guessing the postage cost to Norway was way more than the cost of such a cute thread-catcher. The price of postage is the reason I don't host blog giveaways anymore. I have a stack of Liberty of London fat quarters fabrics that I won in a giveaway (I don't like Liberty fabrics; I know I'm odd), that I'd like to use as a blog giveaway, but I'm fearful of having to pay to send them overseas!
