Once I actually read the email, I was curious about the list. I played it safe and DID NOT click on any of the links in the email!!! Instead, I googled the list, clicked over, and started scrolling.
Imagine my surprise...
... When I got halfway down the list, which reads like a who's who of movers and shakers in the quilt world, I was shocked at what I saw:
While it might just be a marketing ploy, I certainly was pleased to be placed in such good company! I'm number 41 on the list right beneath Christina Cameli.
What?!?! How is that even possible???
That prompted me to follow a path to see if what additional information could be found:
Thank you to my awesome readers, for choosing my blog as a place that you like to hang out. I'm honored that you spend a portion of your day reading what I have to say. (I'm still not quite sure what to make of the list.)
Until next time...
Color me AMAZED!!!
Well, this is quite the honor, Joy! You certainly deserve it with your creativity and time working on what brings you and your readers joy! I, too, would think this might be a scam with links that would lead to harm. Enjoy your time on Cloud Nine...hooray!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is SEW awesome, Joy! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe skeptic in me would definitely think it was a scam. I know these lists have been around for a while, but I haven't checked them out. I already follow so many blogs, I don't have time for any more.

ReplyDeleteWow! That's is so AWESOME! Congratulations! You deserve it. ;^)
ReplyDeleteCongrats that is fantastic!! So I clicked on the link to go see all on the list...and what the heck I am number 50!!! I never got an email saying my blog was chosen like you did!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I had an email exactly like that but didn't actually look into it. I thought it was a solicitation for a substitute of feed burner since it is going away. I did make the list. WOW! I am in good company with so many others. :)
