Tidy Up Tuesday - H2H - Hometown Hero Delivery

Welcome to another edition of Tidy Up Tuesday!!  As you may or may not recall, the recipient of my Hometown Hero quilt for Hands2Help was away on vacation the day that I had intended to present her gift.  You can read about that HERE, if you missed it.

Well...

The vacationer returned and yesterday I raced to the mailbox when I heard her coming down the street:

The sun was in my eyes so you almost were treated to only the photo below:

In true mail carrier form, she thanked me, popped the bag on the floor of the truck, and was on her merry way.  Without even looking to see what was in the bag!

Sigh...

Anticlimactic, for sure, but not unexpected of my uber conscientious mail carrier.  I hope she like her quilted gift.

Photo credits to my good friend Knittingsuek.  Thanks, Sue!!  You captured the moment for me way better than a selfie would have.

With that (and two subsequent trips to the post office later in the week) my 2021 Hands2Help commitment has been fulfilled.  Thank you for hosting this wonderful event, Sarah.

Until next time...
Deliver appreciation!!
