ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 21

Welcome to Week 21 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week was filled with quilting and a bit of travel.  I was SEW busy that I didn't realize that I hadn't added to this post along and along like I usually do.  I had dropped in a few photos, but hadn't written a word when I went to "finish up" my post on Friday night. YIKES!!

Let's take a look at what kept me busy...

Tonight was Zoomy Quilt Guild.  Here I am, waiting for the meeting to begin:

Our guest speaker was modern quilter  Cindy Grisdela:

TUESDAY - Tidy Up Tuesday

This morning, I stopped here...

... Before doing a bit of this:

The afternoon was spent stacking quilts on the longarm:

Meeting up with Sfgwife this morning brightened my day:

The afternoon found me quilting the second layer on the longarm:

This afternoon, LeeAnna and I went to extreme measures to have our weekly Zoom call (which ended up as a phone call with Zoom assist!)  Our photo say it all.  I'm laughing as LeeAnna holds up her cell phone for sound:

THURSDAY - Pineapple SALE!!!  I went with Tiffany:

When I got home, I quilted the third level of quilts layered on the longarm:

I was late for ZoomKNIT today, but these five knitting friends were waiting for me:

Two other friends joined after the photo was taken, but I didn't manage to get another.  I did remember to get a photo a little while later when Knittingsuek arrived for our grocery swap:

This afternoon, I cleaned up the trimming that I tried to do while I waited for her to arrive:

SATURDAY - LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Join me, won't you, in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

You can see my RED progress at the top of the pile of quilts shown below:

Until next time...

  2. The longarm makes the quilting process so much fun, look how many quilts you quilted in no time. Looks like another great week.

  5. Busy, busy but you are getting things accomplished! Love that stack of quilts from Sunday... which reminds me I need to wash and post the Hands to Help quilts... and mail them out.

  7. Busy as usual! I’m glad you got to get a coffee and do some shopping! I’m not much of a shopper, at least not for clothes. Nothing looks the way I think it should. But a little birdie told me you were needing some slimmer summer things, so congrats!

  12. It's a wonder you have time to quilt! It was too hot to quilt or garden this week. I did get my red table scraps started. Hopefully it will be cool enough for me to finish it up.
