The Guest Blogger(s) - Vol.47 - Sandra's Nifty Yellow Notions Pouch

And PURPLE, too!!  :o))

Welcome to another edition of the Guest Blogger(s) here at The Joyful Quilter!!  Today, I'm here to share the ABC (Table) SCRAPS Challenge project that Sandra posted over on Ravelry yesterday.  She posts it there because she doesn't have a blog and then I bring it to you.  It works that way or with an email.

Y and/or N were the letter prompts for April, Sandra said the following...

I made a Nifty Notions pouch using some Yellow and Purple scraps with a Purple lining. The floral is quilted with 1” lines and outline quilting for the hexie flower. It measures 11” x 8” which is perfect for larger items like rulers, stitch holders, gauges, scissors, notebook etc.

Here are the photos she posted:

The front...

As well as the interior...

Give Sandra's PURPLE project some quilty love in the comments below.  I know that you enjoyed seeing her useful quilted "Y and N" project as much as I did!  Thank you for sharing these photos for the blog, Sandra.  I'll be looking forward to seeing what you will do with the May challenge!

Link Party REMINDER...

All entries for the April 2023 ABC (Table) SCRAPS Challenge should be submitted by Tuesday, May 2nd @ 11:59PM (EST).  Here's the LINK in case you would like to make a quick project to add or if you haven't yet seen the submitted quilted items for April.  Note:  You will find May's prompts included near the bottom of that post.

Until next time...
USE those table scraps!!!

  1. Nothing like a good zippered pouch to show off fabrics and have a very practical item, too!

  2. That's a fun pouch, and perfect for the ABC part of the challenge, too! I love the hexie flower on the outside - I'm going to have to remember that!

  3. Very pretty purples. The hexie flower works so well with the print she picked.

  4. What a great pouch! Very nifty indeed!

  5. That is a cute little bag! I especially love the hexie she used.
