SUNDAY - ProjectQUILTING 14.4
After releasing today's post, I visited on Zoom with Knittingsuek:
This afternoon, I made a PINK scrappy House block (inspired by Preeti @ Sew Preeti Quilts). A project on the back burner for WAY TOO LONG:
MONDAY - (Not so...) Mini Monday (On a Sunday)
Work and a Quilt Guild Meeting where I shared my Condo Complex modern quilt from 2020 and the Schoolhouse Quilt made by my Candy and finished by me a number of years ago, along with a House block (pale PINK block in the foreground of the photo) modeled after Preeti's Homeful quilt, a Dog House block inspired by Center Street Quilts on Etsy, and a machine appliqued Wonky House (inspired by Amber K Creative's Let's Build Houses video on YouTube) that I made in just a few minutes this afternoon:
TUESDAY - TidyUp Tuesday and Delivering Quilty Hugs
Work was followed by a few errands. One of those was to Michael's for Knittingsuek. Alas, her item was nowhere to be found. I ventured to the paint section to console myself. These items follow me home:
WEDNESDAY - Wonderful Wednesday and the Art Day
Today is my day off. What will I do with the time?? I started by attempting to catch up on emails and link parties. Once I was done with the former, I gave up on the latter and went upstairs to load the next UFO on the longarm:
This runner was in a scrap bag from Maggie a number of months ago. I thought I had decided on how I want to quilt it, but then I also thought it might be my ABC (Table) SCRAPS challenge entry for this month. It may sit there for a while, as I opted for another entry for the TSC. (You can find the link for that in Friday's entry.)
After lunch, I enjoyed my weekly Zoom call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
THURSDAY - Work was followed by...
Some PINK sewing for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge:
By way of the ABC (Table) SCRAPS Challenge from this little 1" x 1.5" drawing...
Which I glued into my journal once the little quilt was done.
FRIDAY - ABC (Table) SCRAPS Challenge
Work, errands and another attempt at catching up on all the things.
Spoiler Alert: I got the grocery shopping done and NO SEWING!!! :o((
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. After releasing this post, I went on to sew together the 16-Patch portion of my Scrap Jar Star in PINK:
Hoping to finish it up by the end of the month. We'll have to wait and see if that actually happens.
Until next time...
