TidyUp Tuesday - A{n Overdue} Mail Call Monday Post

Welcome to an overdue edition of Mail Call Monday (on a Tuesday!!)  I'm here to share (somewhat) recent arrivals in my mailbox.  The items are being shared in the order in which they were received.

Please forgive me, if you've seen this already!  I wasn't able to find where I posted it and wanted to make sure to thank Kathy @ Hazel's Daughter blog for this lovely prize win.  This was her entry for the Project Quilting 12.1 Illuminating and Ultimate Gray Challenge.

She included the following note:

Along with a fun little surprise!  Cleaning wands for the bobbin area of my sewing machines:

Thank you, again, Kathy!  Your darling little bib is going to make the PERFECT gift for a new little someone, as our great niece was born just last month.

I also did a little retail therapy...

This new T-Shirt came from Edyta @ Laundry Basket Quilts:

I haven't done a lot of shopping lately, so when I saw this cute shirt, it just HAD to join the quilty clothing collection for my wardrobe.

Then there was a prize win from Carol @ Just Let Me Quilt:

As part of her the Hearts On Fire Blog Hop, she offered a gift certificate for her favorite online quilt shop:

Corrie @ Quilt Taffy (on Etsy) takes great care in her packaging:

I used my gift certificate toward the purchase of a pair of Karen K. Buckley Perfect Scissors:

Thank you SEW much, Carol, as I absolutely LOVE these scissors!!

More recently...

I received a MASSIVE scrap infusion from Selina @ Selina Quilts:

Just LOOK at them all:

I've spent a number of hours over the last several days happily sorting the fabulous array of usable scraps:

Thank you, Selina!!  I've already pulled together a few projects from that box of scrappy love.  I hope to have one of them completed by next week for my stop on the Show Your Stripes Blog Hop with Carla @ Creatin' In the Sticks!

Most recently, I received a really special BIG surprise...

This envelope arrived...

From Linda @ Art in Search:

I was fortunate enough to make it onto this year's Valentine list:

Thank you, Linda!!! I was SEW excited to get your beautiful quilted card in the mail.  It's the only Valentine I've gotten in several years.

Until next time...
Hooray for happy mail!!

  2. What a fun post, full of happy goodness! I love my KKB scissors. Be careful while using them. They are most definitely sharp right down to the tippy tip! It's always a good day to add to the quilty wardrobe as well!
