Let's see how this week played out...
SUNDAY - After finishing my SEW SOME LOVE link post, I went to sew with friends. (I use the term loosely, since I didn't SEW a stitch!!) I trimmed the last of the blocks for the T-Quilt... TURQUOISE in the mix:
And... sorted through Britt's SEA GREEN scraps (knicked a few, too!) These are the ones that I pressed for Super Bowl Sewing:
The ACTUAL sewing:
Too bad the game changed during the 4th quarter!! :o((
MONDAY - Knit Group started the day off right. NOT!! I took a trip around the world with my friend, Tiffany. Went from Hillsborough to Kings Mountain and back today, including a stop at Mary Jo's and IKEA. It was a good, but exhausting day. I was up at 5 AM!!! Met at 5:45 and didn't get home until around 3:45 PM.
I did have a few SEA GREEN sightings at Foust...
And AQUA at IKEA:
I decided that I needed to switch nail color when I got home:
FOUR different shades of SEA GREEN for the RSC!!!
Along with (a daylight glimpse of) my Super Bowl block.
TUESDAY - My FREE day!! The first thing that I did was write up last week's monthly Quilt Bee meeting notes. My NEW notebook just happens to be in February's Color of the Month:
The next thing I did was go meet a friend for coffee, followed by lunch and some shopping. TURQUOISE sightings...
Consignment Shop:
Which quilt won, Joyful???
FIVE Rainbow Strings... made thanks to my friend, Britt:
The Police Quilt auditioned border choices:
AND cutting for (the future) Scrap Jar Stars and RSC X blocks:
They all begged for attention (that I happily provided.)
This Color Cue QUILT LINK comes to you from 100 Days of Modern Quilting, where To Ithica shared her own (blue) blue version of the quilt. :P
The quilt in the link checks all the boxes for February's Color of the Month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Enjoy!!

Hey, look! There are even some SEA GREEN spots!!
FRIDAY - Another busy day, but the afternoon was devoted to finishing ONE green String block:
My friend, Bo, gave me a bag of HST makers... with AQUA background. It made for the perfect Leader/Ender...
... For the LAST green String block for the Rainbow String expansion project:
PLUS...
I made progress on my SEA GREEN Scrap Jar Stars!!
Laying out the squares for the 16-Patch portion:
Making the HSTs with some TEAL in there:
Creating the corner units:
All BEFORE dinner!!
AFTER dinner, I took the time to square up the HSTs:
However, I determined that I was too tired to do any more sewing.
SEW... Additional progress will have to wait for tomorrow.
SATURDAY - Angela posted her LINK PARTY and I joined in the fun. If YOU like any shade of SEA GREEN, go check out the lovely projects for a boatload of inspiration.
I'll check in with the other RSC Quilters later today, but for now, I'm headed up to the sewing room to see what trouble I can get into before time to start ANOTHER load of laundry. :o))
Also linking up with Cynthia for Oh Scrap!
Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!
