ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 41

Welcome to Week 41 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Another week and NEW Color of the Month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  It's October and (as revealed last week) it's time for the RSC Quilters to dig out our Light/Bright GREEN:

SUNDAY - I found that Angela had released the September Full Stop Dash block tutorial.  Did I make mine today?  Maybe/maybe not...  OK, so I didn't make my block.  I really wanted to, though!

MONDAY - I spent the day catching up on paperwork and unpacking more boxes from our late-August move.

Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:

THURSDAY - ZoomBEE - LIVE @ Cheryl K's and there was a last minute change in plans, as it started raining just before the meeting was scheduled to begin:

Quilters on the left...

... And quilters on the right:

After a stop at the old house and another at the grocery store, I came home to find that The Birthday Quilt had been featured over at Kelly's blog in this week's edition of Needle and Thread Thursday:

FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT - LIVE @ Beth's, but I missed it.   :o((

The good news is that after 6 weeks, we have FINALLY found a pizza place that meets our requirements!  There's a bonus.  Mosca's serves the most beautiful stromboli we've ever seen and it's tasty, too:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!

  1. What a beautiful back yard you have (behind your quilters!), and did you make cookies for the meeting - lol! I bet you keep hoping that you've made your last trip to the old house. Oh that stromboli - yum! Have a great weekend Joy. :)

  3. Looks like you had a great week! Yay, for getting “June” trimmed and a binding cut! Glad you could “borrow” Britt’s ruler! Ya gotta have the right tools! At least that’s what Mr Busy keeps telling me regarding his many trips to Home Depot and Menards’s! Giggle 🤭

  7. I see you've been playing with your green scraps a little bit! Glad you found a good pizza place - the stromboli does look yummy. You must have moved quite a ways from your old house? Sounds like new places to explore!

  9. I've never heard of stromboli so had to look it up on Mr Google. It looks and sounds delicious.

  10. You learn something new every day....stromboli is unknown to me. Google to the rescue again. Anytime spent with fabric is good.

  11. I'm glad you found time for some handwork between getting your house in order. Time especially for your friends. I think you didn't move far, if you still have the same bee groups.

  13. Okay. A post with food in it isn't to be overlooked. I've never heard of stromboli, but it looks yummy (calorie-filled!). It's great to see you continuing to engage in your favorite activities, even if box-emptying isn't really one of them. :-)

  14. Pizza!!! Ooh yes. No wonder you are smiling in every picture. As far the blocks are concerned, they will get done eventually.
