Sew Some Love Sunday - LWR - Quilt Tops Come Rolling In

Welcome to another edition of Sew Some Love Sunday!!  I'm here with another LWR Mission Quilt update.

NEWSFLASH...

My quilting friends are THE BEST!!!
Kits went out, quilt tops came back.

Maggie - top + back + binding:

The "modeled" top:

As well as, her 2nd of each a couple of days later:

Britt made this modified Charm Pack Cherry Quilt:

Carol made 3 quilts from 2 kits and deliver backings to go with:

From her Autumn fabric pull...

... And the remaining leftovers, with a few additions from stash:

Her 2nd kit was turned into this charming quilt top:

Candy is not a fan of scrappy, but managed to make this beauty:

Other contributions...

Special thanks to Knittingsuek, for using Suzanne(Alaska)'s  contribution to purchase of this roll of batting for the project, as I am terrible at ordering things online:

Is there anything I can do to help, Joyful???

Absolutely!!  We need binding.  Each quilt needs approximately 300 inches of quilt binding.  If you have 2.5" strips that you could make quilt binding with, we have seven quilts that will be able to use the binding YOU make!  Just leave a comment, if this is a service that you are able to provide for the Mission Quilt program.

Until next time...
Quilters are SEW generous!!

  1. Wow! So many great designs emerged from those baggies of squares! I think Maggie's is my fave with those whacky spinny thingies :)
