HERE is my scrappy entry, Rainbow Strings:
This quilt started out as a project for the 2015 Rainbow Scrap Challenge over at the So Scrappy blog. It continued during RSC16 and was completed in June of 2017.

I thought that I might continue to make String blocks for the 2017 Rainbow Scrap Challenge, but suddenly ran out of steam:
In the future, I will remove the paper once the rows are complete:
Removing paper from a completed quilt top is NO FUN:
Quilting on my APQS Millennium is TONS of FUN:
Using my Circle Lord giant template boards from Loricle makes quilting MUCH less stressful (once squishy shelf liner is in place):
Matching binding colors around the edge of the quilt is not quite as easy as one might think, but perfection is overrated:

ReplyDeleteI love your finished RSC quilt! I finished my first one this year and have two to go. BUT, I barely made a dent in my scraps. Next year Id like to make one like yours! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I've got a strings quilt on my list to do so the tip to remove the papers after completing a row is good. I've often wondered why do the paper at all?
