Let's see how the week went...
SUNDAY - ProjectQUILTING Challenge 14.5
Once my post went live, I headed upstairs for my weekly Zoom call with Knittingsuek:
The afternoon was a blur, but the evening found me finishing up my project from the Art Journal Dreams Retreat with Laly Mille:
MONDAY - (Not so...) Mini Monday
It's another work week. This lovely screen saver greeted me this morning. I had to capture it for LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color, as Flamingos are her favorite:
TUESDAY - Work and not a single photo for the day. Crazy, right?!
WEDNESDAY - I was pleased to be able to contribute a bag of canned good to the Art Feeds the Soul Quilt Show this morning. Thanks for inviting me, Stacy! Here we are in front of a lovely GREEN quilt, in honor of my RSC Quilter friends:
After racing home to inhale some lunch, I made it upstairs just in time to enjoy my weekly Zoom call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
Since we met early today, I had the afternoon to work on a variety of projects. No photos of the main one, but once dinner was done, I headed back upstairs for some GREEN scrappy fun:
Sorry about the photo! I was so engrossed in my work that I didn't notice the poor lighting.
THURSDAY - Work was preceded by a a bit of quilt assembly and was followed by a bit of knitting. Don't look too closely, as it's the first knitting I've done in nearly TWO YEARS!! This is the beginning of Neptune's Horses by Hilary Latimer:
FRIDAY - It's another work day, but before it was time to go, I enjoyed the final lesson in the Collage Makers Summit with Drew Steinbrecher - who is a modern quilter along with being a gel print maker and collage artist:
But WAIT!! There's more...
I also quilted a UFO project which was included in a scrap bag from my friend Maggie:
At work, GREEN and rotary cutting featured prominently in my day, but all I have to show for it is a pile of paper scraps and an extremely tired me:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. Hopefully, I'll have more to share next week.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
Ooh, that's a pretty shawl pattern! Glad you're getting back into knitting these days. You always seem to have the perfect outfits for the monthly colors, too!
ReplyDeleteLook at that--you're doing some knitting, too! Very vun.
ReplyDeleteyea to knitting, boo to my photo which I hoop is not how I look in real life.
ReplyDeleteL.
You had another busy week. Love the color you are using in your knitting project. Happy stitching this week.
ReplyDeleteA busy and fun week! I've never been one to "do" St Patrick's Day, but now that I am more aware of a few Irish ancestors, I may have to wear green this week too.
ReplyDeleteYou had a busy, productive week! I like seeing all you have going on and especially enjoyed seeing your art journal page. Nicely done!
