ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC22 - Week 18

Welcome to Week 18 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week the RSC Quilters were happy to discover the Color of the Month.  Here's a hint:

Kat @ Kat and Cat Quilts released the May/June Block Drive for Covered in Love.

After Zoom with Knittingsuek...

I did a little housework and a grocery pick-up (which took WAY longer than it should have!)

MONDAY - The Guest Blogger(s) Late Edition!!!

I started something new today.  This is where my adventure began.  An old rainbow dot planner is about to be transformed!  For the cover, I decided to use strips of a pretty duct tape layered with a colorful business card, a scrap of paper, and some washi tape:

Messy May promises to be a lot of fun.  Just putting paint to paper was a thrill for me:

TUESDAY - It was a work day today, but I dug out my Sage/Forest GREEN scraps for May's Color of the Month when I got home:

WEDNESDAY - It was my day off.  I made really good use of it!  I started out with today's journal page:

Followed by a trip to Scrap Central!!!  It was great to see Diane and we had a lovely visit on her front porch.  Just LOOK what was waiting for me:

Sage/Forest GREEN scraps for my RSC Quilter friends!  :o))

Triple the fun during my Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:

It took us that many times to get a decent photo and that's how many 40-minute Zoom sessions we went through before we had said all we had to say for the day!

THURSDAY - ZoomBEE - Not for me.  :o((  I spent the day at work and the evening in the studio.  I had some catching up to do.  Here's my block for Covered in Love's current Pixel Block Drive:

This must be some kind of record for me.  Only FIVE days into the first month?
My Block Drive block is done and ready to mail!!!

FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT went live, but... Even though WORK was canceled, I still had work to do!!!  While missing my friends, I made the most of the day by doing today's journal page, several loads of laundry, and prepping the last of the T-shirts for my commission quilt:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  My apologies, friends.  I am behind on visiting most of the links and today I'm quadruple booked!  It's an occasion day around here, too.  I'll be enjoying these bits of GREEN:

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!

  14. I've had little time to sew and that probably won't improve for the rest of the month. Hope your "occasions" day was fun. I was home alone, but did get some phone calls from family. Covid has reared its ugly head again around here, so staying home is the only option.
