ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC22 - Week 21

Welcome to Week 21 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week was a different kind of busy than most.  You won't be able to notice it by the photos, but

How did the week go, Joyful???

I released the blog post linked above and Zoomed with Knittingsuek:

I spent the early afternoon finishing up a project and delivered it before dinner:

MONDAY - Work with a side of quilting and some art journaling, too.  I tried the image transfer technique that today's instructor shared for Messy May:

.
TUESDAY - Like yesterday, work with a bit of quilting and a side of art journaling.  Today's page included GREEN (paper) scraps:

Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:

Another day, another journal entry including GREEN scraps:

THURSDAY - Today was a quilting day (with a dental appointment thrown in for good measure), but before I could get back to quilting, I had to stop for a grocery pick-up:

It was also a painting day.  The focus was blue, but I included some GREEN, too:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

One more thing to share this week.  IG friends may have seen this, but some of you seem to be interested in my foray into journaling.  This week, I ventured off into abstract art with artist Louise Fletcher's Find Your Joy expressive painting course:

While not typically a favorite style of mine, it certainly was a TON of fun to play with!!  Would you believe it this began as a big blob?  Really, see for yourself:

Look closely and you with notice that I mixed up some Dark GREEN paint.  :o))

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!

  3. What a great week for you, Joy. Glad to see you managed to work in some creativity. All work is good for the bank account but doesn't do much for our inner self!

  7. You have had another very busy and interesting week. Painting? Sadly not for me, like glue, I'm sure I'd get it everywhere except where it's meant to be going.

  8. I haven't had a chance to comment on your neat art journal posts on instagram, but I'm impressed! I like the little peek at the table runner on this post, too. The whole thing, too, was pretty appealing to my green-loving heart.
