ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC19 - Week 51

Welcome to Week 51 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Did I really just say that???  Yep!  2019 is quickly coming to a close.  I'm already preparing my Year in Review post.  That will be released closer to the arrival of 2020.

Many of my RSC Quilter friends have already posted some of their finishes for the 2019 Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  As you know, if you've been following along this year, I didn't work on any RSC quilts.  I opted for alternate ways to use my scraps.

This week, I played with a few more scraps...

SUNDAY - It was my day to tackle the last of Mt. Washmore and sort this bag of scraps (Thank you, Candy!) that I was given at yesterday's Holiday Party for my Quilt Bee:

MONDAY - This evening was the Holiday Pot Luck at Quilt Guild.  I made a mountain of meatballs, but didn't take a picture.
I did get a shot of this month's Donation Quilts.  Even in the midst of the Holiday hubbub, members are SEW generous:

TUESDAY - Another day, another party!  Tonight's event was my Knit Group's Wine Night Party.  I made a BIG batch of Moose Munch to share and all that's left is this snippet of a snack baggie:

WEDNESDAY - Hair appointment and quilt pick-up.

THURSDAY - Pulled out the quilt top that I hope to quilt over the weekend.  If that's even possible!!  It's BIG and beautiful.  I'm more than a fair amount intimidated at the thought of quilting this antique applique beauty:

FRIDAY - Wait!!  How did it get to be Friday already?  This evening, I took care of loading this quilt backing, followed by the batting and the quilt top:

SATURDAY - And... It's LINK PARTY day over on Angela's So Scrappy blog.  I don't know about you, but I can hardly believe there is only ONE more remaining for the year.  Here's hoping that Angela is working away on RSC20, as I still have SEW many fabric scraps to sew!  I absolutely LOVE her scrappy link-up and appreciate the fact that she continues to offer it each year.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!

  5. From Mount Washmore to a mountain of meatballs, I believe you are lacking in other geographical terms such as a valley of calm, a steady stream of scraps, an island of work space in an ocean of mess :-p
Happy Holidays to you and a Happier New Year too!!!
