Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs is having a Best of 2019 Linky Party.
She encouraged us to include out "best" posts from the year. If you are new to The Joyful Quilter, welcome! If you've visited before, welcome back! It's been 3 years since I've participated in this Link Party.
To take part in the link party, bloggers were asked to 'simply write a new blog post highlighting your "best" 5 posts from 2019 and linkup.' There were no rules for what to include. She provided the following examples:
- Posts with the most views
- Posts with the most comments
- Posts that provoked the best discussions
- Posts showing your favorite 2019 finishes
- Posts of your best tutorials
- Posts that are simply your favorites
It was nice to REALLY look back at what I've accomplished this year! I completed 1 commission basket, 3 quilted pin cushions, 5 quilts of varying sizes, 6 quilted scrap baskets, 7 quilted thread catchers, and 8 quilted mug rugs. All of these were made from my ever-growing stash of fabric scraps! I also quilted 11 quilts on my APQS longarm quilting machine for my quilting friends, along with making a variety of other small projects for my family.
But my BEST posts??
That's a tough thing to consider.
Mine include...
- The post with the most views (301): Black & White Blog Hop - Day FOUR - My Stop on the Hop
- The post that drew the most comments (43): All About Strings - Day FOUR - My STOP on the Hop
- The post that shares my favorite finish of 2019: Tidy-Up Tuesday - Tales of a TINY Supernova
Thanks for coming along on my trip down memory lane. I'm glad that Cheryl organized this Linky Party and that Cynthia over at Quilting is more fun than Housework chose to participate. If these two things didn't collide, I might not have noticed that I had neglected to add G's Birthday Mug Rug to my list of completed projects over in the sidebar:
Until next time...
Quilt the year away!!!
