No?? Well, then, you are in good company. I'm still working on mine, too! :o))
SUNDAY - I enjoyed spending a little time up in the studio adding MORE quilting to my Jumbo Green Scrap Basket:
TUESDAY - I've got no report. The day got away from me and I have NO idea what went on!
WEDNESDAY - I quilted another few sections of my Jumbo Green Scrap Basket using patterns from my favorite book:
THURSDAY - Knit Group met. Sort of... I took coffee and a snack to my friend who had a hip replacement last week. We knit for a bit. She was still in a lot of pain, so I left her to her nap.
And...
Some time later, I quilted:
FRIDAY - I am SEW excited!!! Lori at Humble Quilts was having a drawing for a pattern from Kevin the Quilter.
This the email that I received last night:
Commenter number 11 is YOU! You have won a pattern Gracie Lu’s Railfence!
If you would please send me your mailing address I’ll get the pattern in the mail.
Lori
I'm looking forward to THIS arriving in my mailbox soon because, as you well know, I absolutely LOVE scraps:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day over at Angela's So Scrappy blog!! I wonder how many of the RSC Quilters have finished up rainbow projects this week? I'll have to check later (or tomorrow.)
I'm on my way to Raleigh for a Sew Saturday.
What's that, Joyful???
I know. It's been quite a while since it was just us quilters! Unfortunately, Sew/Craft Friends-zy was canceled this month due to other events planned at the church where we meet.
Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!
Congrats on your win, it looks like a wonderful pattern. Have fun in Raleigh today!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing how your Bonnie blocks come together and your Jumbo Scrap Basket, too! Have a fun sewing day today!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I loves me some greens, and I can’t wait to see your scrap basket! Between yours and Angela’s, I think I’ve just about decided that I need to make me a set.
ReplyDeleteOh, Joy, if I had finished all my scrappy projects I wouldn't know what to do with myself! Your basket looks good!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool pattern you've won! Can't wait to see that under your needles! This month, this quarter, really, is getting away from me, too. I think you're doing great, even if you don't get to sew every day.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your piecing machine is on vacation. Hope it comes back well rested and ready to sew. LOVE those greens.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo on winning a KEVIN THE QUILTER pattern! You'll have a blast playing with those scraps. Sweet of you to take your friend with the hip replacement some treats--and company. You're such a sweet friend!
Enjoy the rest of your week. I'll have to admire all the other Frolic mystery quilts out there in blogland. I'm not doing a mystery quilt this year. Time just doesn't permit right now. I'll save the pattern though. It looks like another beauty. The clue this week should fly and give you time to catch up on a few other things. :)
Lucky you, Joy!!! With the pattern I mean, not the machine. Again, you said. Are you sure you don't want to get a new machine? Have a great time in Raleigh.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your win! Whoop Whoop to you! Hope you get your piecing machine soon so you can start on this new pattern. It looks like a fun one to make. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I saw you were a winner on Humble Quilts. Kevin is so much fun -- we've had him at our guild several times. Never a dull moment with that one!!! Keep on quilting that Big Green Quilt! Making good progress
ReplyDeleteOh how lucky to win that pattern. Hope your puwcing machine is back online soon. I hope to finish clue 2 today.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on winning the pattern! And thanks for the RSC reminder. I had big plans for finishing, but it looks like my quilts will be a January project. This month is flying! I hope your machine gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteYou've been really busy and made lots of progress! Good for you. Congrats on winning the pattern. It should be a fun one to make.
