Here is a photographic run-down...
Tiffany has already completed the quilting on her Shakespeare in the Park quilt:
Tiffany?? Oh! There you are:
Not only that, but she also made block for, assembled, AND quilted her Pecking Order quilt:
Tiffany is pretty pleased with herself - and with her new quilt tee:
Carol is making progress on her Storm at Sea quilt:
Denise brought in her stuff and stopped to have breakfast:
Here is a better look at the quilting on Tiffany's Pecking Order quilt, along with a view on the PERFECT backing fabric that came straight out of her fabric stash:
Pot Holders and Bowl Cozies, anyone:
The scrappers are in the house...
... And they are preparing for a party:
Oh! Look at the quilt on the wall:
The artist is working on painting another chair:
Tiffany is set up to get a boat... er... bag load of projects done:
She just HAD to show me the "cone holder" that she recently purchased for her Featherweight:
Her small pin cushion (from Denise's book and Joy's scraps) has also been completed:
Denise completed the quilt top that she was working on last time:
This photo was shot from a different angle:
Oh, Denise! Don't you KNOW that you can't hide:
Joy shows off the new mini-iron cozy that Denise made
:
Feel lucky that you didn't have to witness all the excited jumping up and down! :P |
Patti(y?) joined the sewing section this month:
Carol contemplates another day of Snail Trail block production:
Her blocks are scrap-a-licous:
This is another look at the Iron Cozy that Denise made:
Here's hoping the chocolate hearts don't melt:
The photo below shows Tiffany trying to convince me that she NEEDS the scraps from my turquoise bin for her blocks:
You can guess where some scraps ended up:
Computer photo from Kathryn Kerr's 365Challenge:
Only ONE row of blocks remains to be sewn:
More scrapbookers have joined the "crop":
Here, you see the quilt that Denise just purchased the pattern for...
... Along with her ridiculously expensive T-shirt from Nashville:
Lisa went stash diving for this fabric:
If memory serves me correctly, it's denim, fleece, and flannel:
What's hiding out behind Joy's sewing machine...
... A chain of tiny HSTs:
While YOU may not be able to see it, Joy found some rhyme and reason in her HST chain:
Carol's collection of completed blocks grows:
I'm sensing a color theme here:
Hmm... Those fabrics look vaguely familiar:
This is Tiffany's NEXT project:
And her Kaleidoscope quilt top only needs a few more seams:
Another completed block for Denise:
Look who finished the rest of her blocks:
Way to go, Denise:
Row production has begun:
She's VERY happy to have this portion of the project done:
Lisa's project was a car seat cover, which fits perfectly:
Denise is just as happy with the BACK of her assembled rows, as she is with the front:
The scrapbookers are still in full force, but the quilters are running out of steam. At least a couple of us are packing up to head home. Overall, we enjoyed a fun and productive day.
Until next time...
Craft happy!!!
Looks like a productive happy day. Every time James Taylor pops up on my pandora feed singing about going to carolina i will be thinking of you all.
ReplyDeleteLovely post. At first, I was confused. I thought you were making the 365 Challenge. Whhhhaaaattt? Then I realized it's Tiffany! Does she has a blog? Would love to see more of her work. And what is up with all the tiny little HSTs, if I may ask? A new project? You have a great group and I love to see all the wonderful work you do. Thanks for sharing. ;^)
ReplyDeleteEndless photos! I enjoyed it. What does Tiffany's t-shirt say? Awesome quilting on her Pecking Order quilt! And that iron cozy is just too cute!
