ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC22 - Week 13

Welcome to Week 13 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Angela included our Color of the Month for April in last Saturday's post.  You might have already seen it out in BlogLand, but I'll share that (and my overstuffed Quilted Scrap Basket) on Friday's entry.

Did any more YELLOW/GOLD scrap sewing take place, Joyful???

Not exactly, but let's see what DID happen...

SUNDAY - This happened yesterday:

My week ended the way it began... With a lovely Zoom call.  Thanks, Knittingsuek!!

You'll never believe what happened!  Gardening.  It was a productive afternoon and that was followed by an equally productive evening.  More on that in Wednesday's post.

MONDAY - The morning began with the whir of a chain saw and the YELLOW/GOLD contraption was firmly planted in our side yard:

Work was followed by a dinner that made me feel like a chef.  That's rare!

TUESDAY - Work and a quick shopping trip.  Nothing photo worthy.  Just a Hobby Lobby pick-up for Knittingsuek and a grocery run for yogurt and bananas.  Note to self: Don't shop hungry!

Tonight was my Monthly Evening Quilt Bee meeting.  We had hoped to have an outdoor meeting, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate and temps were around 50F so we Zoomed:

WEDNESDAY - Work... and a new Wonderful Wednesday post.  Here's a preview:

There was also time for a Zoom call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:

THURSDAY - Work.  So... the In-Person bee meeting went on without me.  :o((

During yesterday's Zoom call, I did something with a different sort of YELLOW/Gold scraps!  I had a little fun with some yellow PAPER scraps:

FRIDAY - Winter 2022 (Ravelry) UFO Club - The Results

No fooling...

The new Color of the Month is PINK!!!

In other news...

Today was errand day.  This morning, I had an appointment to load a car full of quilts:

And missed this week's ZoomKNIT because of it, but I got to see a couple friends LIVE and in person at the local coffee shop after a number of trips up and down steep steps:

While visiting, I played with some PINK (and brown) yarn:

In the midday, I stopped by Knittingsuek's to drop off some items that I had purchased for her:

Afterward, there were additional errands to be run.  Groceries and the pharmacy were involved.  I won't tell you about the side trip to the ice cream shop.  No one needs to know about that one.  :P

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  I got a head start on my own PINK scraps:

Stay tuned to see what I have in mind for them.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
