ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 49

Welcome to Week 49 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week was a blur of work and cooking.  Let's see if I managed to get any quilting-related tasks completed...

SUNDAY - I spent the day catching up on household chores.  At the top of the list?  Tackling Mt. Washmore.  Since we were away last weekend, it had grown to monumental proportions!

During the middle of that afternoon, my phone rang.  It was LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color.  She need a bit of perspective on her current project.  Her timing was impeccable and her call got me up to the studio.

While there, I decided to get busy with my current T-Quilt:

Sorry, IG friends!  You might have seen the photo shown above when I posted it last night.

TUESDAY - Tonight was my monthly Evening Quilt Bee meeting.  Here is a photo before...

... And after our final attendee showed up:

Alas, my photography skills were not at an all time high, as I apparently moved the phone each time a took our picture.  :o((

WEDNESDAY - Was a blur...

THURSDAY - I left work to this glorious sunset:

FRIDAY - I enjoyed a catch-up call with Knittingsuek this evening.  You can often tell how long it's been since we have spoken by the length of our conversation.  We talked for almost 3 HOURS!!!

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  Unlike me, many of them are finishing up their colorful projects from this year's challenge.  You won't want to miss the scrappy goodness!

Hoping to meet up with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color on Zoom late this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon.  Not sure if that will happen, as I'm heading to the old house today to take care of a few last minute details before the upcoming closing and I made other plans for tomorrow, so I'm not sure how the timing will work.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!

  4. I'm impressed you got to see the studio at all this week. I need to be in mine as much as possible next week to meet a deadline. Sigh - camping out at the drive in tonight so we will see if anything gets done tomorrow.

  5. Another busy week for you, though I'm glad you were able to catch up with friends! Must ask... why are you using a camera to take a picture of your computer screen? Did you know you can take a screen shot? The photo will be much clearer, and not at an angle. I'm on a Macbook, so how I do it is to simultaneously hold Command/Shift/4. A cursor comes up to select the area that takes a screen shot. The shot automatically saves to my desktop. If you're on a PC, I'm sure you have a similar option. Hope that works better for you!

  6. Oh, Joy, I hope you get some stitching time soon, even though everything is seriously busy. It always gets that way at the end of the year, doesn't it? Good luck with the closing, and I hope next week is a bit slower, with more friends.
