ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC21 - Week 29

Welcome to Week 29 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week, the RSC Quilters are in the thick of Dark BLUE and/or Dark Neutrals.  I, on the other hand, am packing for a studio overhaul.

Let's see how that went...

Yesterday, B stopped by to help with packing for the studio overhaul.  (Thank you SEW very much, B!!!)  This is us in front of the tower of totes we packed:

In the spirit of the Challenge, here is a peek inside my Dark BLUE stash bin:

That may very well be the sum total of my work for the week.  No sewing for me!  My scrap basket is tucked into a corner of that bin.

MONDAY - Today, I've got another "catch-up" entry.  Yesterday I took a whirlwind tour around town.  Four stops to drop things off with friends.  At Needleb's and Knittingsuek's, I neglected to take photos.  :o((

Here I am at Carol's dropping off the Cat quilts and picking up the Pinwheels, which I hope will go on the frame tomorrow:

My last stop was dropping off Preeti's Positivity block at Maggie's:

It boggles my mind, but within 2 weeks she plans to have a quilt top ready for the Positivity QAL Quilt Top Link Party.  Thank you, again, Maggie!!!

Impromptu Zoom call with LeeAnna after lunch today:

I'm hoping she can forgive my poor photography and that none of you pass out from the shock of seeing my missing scrap stash in the background of the photo!

Early this evening, I met with the painter.  He'll be working up a quote for me and should have it ready by Wednesday.

TUESDAY - I made a quick trip to B's for thread.  The shades I have just don't seem right for the Pinwheel quilt.  Here is the one she offered:

WEDNESDAY - This morning, I spent some time with with "The Knitting Machine":

My friend Hilary offered safe storage for the LWR Mission Quilts until the last one is done and ready to send off.  Thanks, Hil!!

This afternoon, I enjoyed my weekly Zoom call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color...

... Because ONE call just WASN'T enough this week!!!

THURSDAY - ZoomBEE went LIVE this week in Carol's driveway, but we gathered on her front steps to grab a quick group photo:

Miracle of miracles, my Show and Tell involved some Dark BLUE sewing for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, which I put together just prior to leaving for the meeting:

FRIDAY - ZoomKNIT was canceled today.  Appointments, trips, and a long To Do List kept members from getting together.

Freaky Friday Not a usual post, for what I hope won't become a usual occurrence.  Blogger gremlins ate an important post.  :o((

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!
