ScrapHappy Saturday -RSC19 - Week 44

Welcome to Week 44 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  Since I was away for a long weekend last week, I'm not sure how this one will go.  I've got a DARK project set aside, but one question remains.

Will you actually touch it, Joyful?!?!

Let's have a look...

SUNDAY - It was a travel day.  Well...  AFTER we finished our explorations in YARNia!

MONDAY - Back to the daily grind.  Mt. Washmore awaits.  Other than a start on that, not much got done.

TUESDAY - I was up half the night so the day is a bit of a blur.  This was what occupied my time during my Evening Quilt Bee:

My computer.  BLACK for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  My quilting project was doing some updating on the Bee's blog.

WEDNESDAY - I quilted.  In BROWN!!  Now, I'll have a project that I might be able to finish on Saturday at the upcoming Sew Day.

I started with a few of my favorite patterns and then pulled out my "Go To" book of quilting designs:

Thank you, Christina Cameli, for providing some awesome quilting patterns in your Step-by-Step Free-Motion Quilting book:

This evening, I released a new Wonderful Wednesday post.  Skip it, if you're not into yarn-y goodness.  Just sayin'...  :o))

THURSDAY - Adventures in BROWN and GRAY took on a completely different meaning today:

Photo Currently Unavailable!!
Mt.Washmore was brought to its knees tonight.  Even the jeans and towels got clean.  In between the Halloween festivities...

DING DONG...

Trick or Treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(The year that I buy a TON of candy, our weather is iffy.  Sigh...)

FRIDAY - I'm packing for a Quilting Party!!

Just how many projects can one quilter complete in a day, Joyful???  I'm taking plenty... Just to be sure.

Now, that my BROWN scrap basket panel has been trimmed, that can be added to the list (even though DARK month is over!)

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day over on Angela's So Scrappy blog.  Head over (if you didn't just come from there.)  You will be treated to a variety of DARK scrappy goodness.

Another thing many of the RSC Quilters are doing is finishing up some of their Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects for the year.  You DEFINITELY won't want to miss those cheerful quilts!

I'll join in the fun when I'm able.  It will depend on when Angela releases her post.  (Early.  Yay!!)  I'm off to Raleigh for November's Sew/Craft Friends-zy.  Watch for more about that in an upcoming edition of Wonderful Wednesday.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!

  1. Another whirl wind week! Enjoy your crafting time this weekend. Loved the yarns you picked up during your trip. It's a good thing I don't knit, I'd be seduced by all those beautifully colored yarns and want all of them.

  2. The quilting on your brown scrap basket panel looks great, and I love all those rich, fall colors in it, too! Have a fun sew day today, Joy!

  4. You had too much candy... I had too little! Guess we should have swapped =) Love the look of that brown quilt you worked on this week. Hubby is attempting to tame our Mt. Washmore today. I've managed to find the kitchen counters and clean them... moving onto the rest of the house now while supervising the guinea pigs as their cage is being cleaned by their owner.
