Tidy Up Tuesday - Laurel Ridge Retreat Wrap-Up

WARNING:  PHOTO HEAVY POST!!!

Welcome to another edition of Tidy Up Tuesday!!  I was fortunate enough to be invited to a Quilt Retreat that was held at Laurel Ridge Camp and Retreat Center in Laurel Springs, North Carolina the week before last.  The event was organized by Charlotte area quilter, Carol.

Twenty retreaters were in attendance and the fabric was flying...

Day One, while I was binding my 2014 Grand Illusion Mystery by Bonnie Hunter, this was going on in the rest of the room:

Carol One and Carol Two

Tiffany

Rita

Day Two, as I was making miles of binding for the Positivity QAL Block Drive quilts, others worked on a variety of projects:

Anita

Michelle

Barbara

Denise

Denise?  Colleen?  I'm not sure.

Tiffany

Rita

Day Three, when most of the quilters were sleeping, one was waiting with me in the ER:

Thank you, again, Tiffany!

As she slept, we worked through the fog and mist:

Day Five, the final day and the last quilter sewing:

Denise.  (Industriously) Waiting for her turn at the checkout desk.

What a lovely group assembled for this retreat!  I'm sorry that I didn't get photos of everyone, nor a group photo.  Thank you, Charlotte-area quilters and friends, for welcoming me and treating me like one of your own.  It was a pleasure to meet you all - Carol One, Melba, Carol Two, Pat, Barbara, Michelle, Ann, Rita, Maddie, Alice, Johnnie, Anita, Marilyn, Denise, Colleen, Ona, Charlotte, Nat and Natalie - and SEW very good to be able to spend some quality time with you, Tiffany.  It's been WAY.  TOO.  LONG since we've quilted together!

The REST of the Story can be found HERE.

Until next time...
Keep on quilting!!!
