Sew Some Love Sunday - LWR - A Baker's Dozen is Tops {Lucky #13}

Welcome to another edition of Sew Some Love Sunday!!  I'm happy to report that the first LWR package of 2021 arrived in the mail on January 2nd.  Congratulations to Louise @ Quilt Odyssey on claiming that spot with this mailer:

There were already posts scheduled between then and now, but today you finally get peek inside Louise's mailer:

She sent a quilt back this time:

Along with some treats for the minions my quilting friends:

I've claimed the Steam-a-Seam Lite2, but my local helpers will have a chance at this fun pirate print fabric...

... And this amazing dragonfly to incorporate into a project:

She also sent this beautiful quilt top made from Hawaiian fabrics...

... With a note that the back side is the RIGHT side of the quilt top:

This stamp fabric proves it:

Thank you, Louise!  This lovely top will get slotted into the queue for quilting.  I appreciate your contribution to the Lutheran World Relief Mission Quilt Drive here at The Joyful Quilter.

It's not too late for YOU to join the list of contributors!!!

The quilt tops are still rolling in. Please leave a comment if you have a UFO (or would like to make a new quilt top) that measures approximately 60 x 80 inches that you would like for me to finish and donate to the cause.

Until next time...
Sew Some Love!!!

  1. Yay! Glad to know that you have homes for all the goodies, especially the pirate fabric. I can't really use it in my quilts for children, not knowing what country or culture the kids are part of :)

  2. I had seen that the Hawaiian prints are the less 'loud' side of the fabric--neat trick!
