Wonderful Wednesday - RoboQuilt Edition

Welcome to another edition of Wonderful Wednesday!!  Today, I'm happy to report that the T-shirt quilt that I've been working on for months is finally done and delivered.  I couldn't be more pleased!

You may have seen progress pictures in THIS Design Floor Friday post.  I have since completed the quilt and have some additional photos to share.

The back loaded onto the frame:

A shot of the single pieced block in the quilt:

Another look at the (scrap-embellished) label:

It took several hours to get through the first row...

... And then my own personal Service Tech diagnosed and repaired the problem, which turned out to be a burr on the needle plate:

Even with a "perfect" load, I still managed to run into trouble just south of the halfway point:

Finished with the final pass:

Thank you to our sponsors:

With the trimming done, it was time to bind the quilt:

In my pajamas.  On a makeshift sewing table in the entryway:

Sewing down the last bit of binding:

Ta da!!  It's done, done, DONE:

A shot of the completed binding:

And best of all, here's one with the nearly tearful recipient on Delivery Day:

She was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the team's gift.  It was a beautiful sight to behold.  Her comment afterward...

"I wondered what happened to all of our old Robotics T-shirts!"

Linking up with Oh Scrap!

Why, Joyful?

Because...

The cornerstones were from shirt.scraps.
The logo embellishment on the label block was, too!

Linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts

Because...

I have FINALLY finished my RoboQuilt!

Until next time...
