SUNDAY - I joined the DrEAMi Link-up over at MMM! Quilts. Inspired by an easy pattern of guest host Cynthia from Quilting is more fun than Housework, I not only started, but FINISHED blocks for the May/June Covered in Love Block Drive. You can find the post HERE.
MONDAY - Knit Group was followed by an afternoon with a friend. Angela posted May's color announcement titled
Green with Envy:
TUESDAY - A stay-at-home day which I made good use of it by digging out my GREEN fabric scraps:
OK, so it turned out to be "not much of a stay-at-home day", as there were important errands to take care of (before I was late with my car's registration for the year!)
Upon checking my calendar, I found that I also had a hair appointment this afternoon. So much for more sewing!! :o((
WEDNESDAY - Quilting Day. Hooray!!! I started by sorting through scraps for pieces to make my X Blocks:
The photo above had me rethinking several of my choices.
FRIDAY - Another day another... 5000 things to do!! (OK, so maybe not QUITE that many.) The important part is that I ended the day with these:
Scrap Jar Stars by next week's LINK PARTY!!!
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day over at So Scrappy!! I wonder if her "automatic post" is working today??? Technical difficulties at RSC Central last week. Oops!!
My morning included a tent full of colorful balloons...
And a number of laps at the 17th Annual Rainbow of Heroes Walk:
Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!
Love the Rainbow balloons. Thanks for sharing this with us. Enjoy the green, no matter which one you decide to play with. ;^)

ReplyDeleteI can already tell your green SCJar stars are going to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some quilting time in. Some weeks are just full of everything but stitching time.
ReplyDeleteSuch a full week, I really like your little green blocks.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you managed some stitching time in between all the errands. Hope next week is a bit more sedate.
ReplyDeletePretty green blocks.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the green look so bright and fresh.
