Fall 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club/ Q4 FAL - The List

Welcome to the Fall 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club/Q4 FAL!!  Sign-up are closing today.  I've certainly got ENOUGH projects to qualify for participation!  The organizers require a MINIMUM of FIVE listed/pictured UFOs in order to participate and any projects need to be completed by midnight (EST) on December 31, 2016.

I copied list and photos from an earlier post, but Blogger ate them.  :o((

Let's try this, again...

I plan to focus on the following quilts:

Hedgehog Quilt:

PHOTO HERE!!!

And... Dr. Pete's Wedding Quilt, which is a quilt top waiting for borders:

The List has looked (somewhat) like this for QUITE some time:

1 "C" Quilts:

1. Circle of Friends

I've got a plan for the borders... just have to execute the plan.

3 Mystery Quilts:

2. The Margaret Mystery

I've got to make the pieced borders.

3. The Tiffany Mystery

This project has been sitting in a basket on the bookcase shelf for MORE THAN 10 YEARS!!

4. The Bonnie (Hunter) Mystery - GIMQ 2014

~ 48" x 63"

3 Swap Quilts:

5. Snow Star Swap

This projects has been sitting on a shelf in the closet for 9 YEARS!

6. Ravelry Red Swap

Swapped AT LEAST 5 years ago... and STILL not a quilt top!  :o((

7. Art Bee Slice Swap (which is a quilt top waiting for applique)

Blocks were swapped at the December 2014 meeting, but these stragglers were traded in January 2015. The deadline passed and I have commissions this quarter. I still have hopes of finishing it... SOON!!!

2 Other Quilts:

8. Where's Jackson?

At home
How many years CAN a dog sit on a sewing table?  Only time will tell...
All joking aside, Blackie passed away on May 24, 2016.  We miss you, buddy!

9. QE2 Goodbye Quilt

2015 WAS the year to complete this quilt... I've been in NC 17 years and it STILL didn't happen!

The balance of The List is made up of my "Pie in the Sky" hope to finish projects:

10. The Bluff Quilt, which has grown into a quilt top:

11. Christmas Quilt (which has been waiting for YEARS to be added to the list!)

12. Blue/Green quilt that I promised my friend's son:

AND...

13. Farther down the list is my Bonnie Hunter 2015 Winter Mystery, Allietare, which is now a set of blocks awaiting assembly:

That makes a total of 15 projects from which to choose during the Fall 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club.  Wish me luck because (as usual) I'm gonna need it!!  I would like to have BOTH of the priority quilts have to be completed by the middle of December.  Ugh!!  (STOP laughing!!  I DO have a longarm quilting machine now!!  So it COULD happen.)

I'm going to try to Link Up with The 2016 Q4 Finish Along.  Because, PRIZES = extra incentive to get projects DONE!!!  Hopefully, this post will be sufficient.

Until next time...
Happy Finishing!!!

  1. I'm tired just thinking about all that! Surely you can come through with a few. Good luck!

  2. Don't be too hard on yourself. We ALL have WIPs that have been sitting around for a while. Some of your items are very doable! I say focus on those! LOL
