Let's take a walk through my week...

SUNDAY -
Weekly Morning Art Zoom found me working on the FORAGE prompt for Messy May.  It's one of four remaining to be completed.  The rust and beige paint was already on the page that Britt included when creating the book.
I searched through my junk drawer to find a few miscellaneous tools to use in marking my page.  A bit of a produce bag, a bottle cap, a plastic fork, and an odd double-ended plastic cover, along with some coordinating paint did the job:

MONDAY - Cleaning Day

I busied myself with a number of household chores today.  I stopped for Get Messy's Library Crawl, but there was no program host.  I have NO IDEA what I worked on, but after a brief visit with Britt and a few other attendees who left even earlier that I did...

I left early to jump back into preparing for the arrival of our guests.

Later, I realized that the Index-Card-A-Day challenge starts today.  Here's the info for the low stakes art event:

TUESDAY - Tidy Up Tuesday

Review of my 100 Day Project decluttering.

I had a few overdue errands to run this morning.

I returned home to find the following neighborhood news...

The day I've been waiting for has finally arrived!  This sign was posted during the midday:

After lunch I headed back out for a long overdue haircut.  Whew!  What a relief.

WEDNESDAY Last week I promised a photo of my gift from the QFK Kit Cutting hostess.  Somehow I neglected to add it, but here it is. Whether I needed more yarn or not:

Thank you for your generosity, Marianne!

I enjoyed my Watercolor Zoom with Belinda this afternoon...

She shared her version of the Line and Wash painting we started last time...

And I finished up mine during today's session:

Look what was happening outside during our painting session!  The road crew was approaching the middle of their paving job.  One lane is nearly done:

Then I finally caught up with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color for our Weekly Zoom Call:

THURSDAY - Weekly Quilt Group met at Maggie's today.  After the meeting, Britt and I enjoyed an ARTventure via Zoom since her back was misbehaving:

FRIDAY - Knit Group was just we three...

The good news is that I finished the final round of my 2nd sock, bound off, and wove in the ends:

I stopped to grab a few groceries on the way home and a had a quick lunch before Get Messy's Friday Friends Open Studio.  I had some trouble getting started so Britt suggested that I choose a prompt that seemed like fun. This was the result for the ICAD prompt CONEFLOWER for Day 8.  Apparently, I'll be working out of order this year:

I stopped there to take care of some household chores, but returned to the studio after dinner to visit with my Weekly Evening Art Zoom friends.  Tonight I continued with Britt's suggestion and completed the CAFE' prompt for Day 24...

Along with the PISTACHIO or GREEN prompt for Day 29:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you have a chance to visit Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.  I'll be digging through these Quilted Scrap Baskets to see what I can come up with for this month's scrap sewing...
