My 2021 Stitching Resolution Blog Hop

Welcome to final Blog Hop of 2020!!  Well, maybe not the very last one, but it's the last one in which I will be participating.  It's being run by Carla @ Creatin' in the Sticks.

This is what Carla had to say...

The Challege:

This hop doesn't require stitching, it's all about your stitching plan for the new year.  Let's share new ideas and inspiration.  All you have to do is finish this statement in a blog post:

My stitching resolution for 2021 is _____________________________.

I bit... I don't normally partake in resolution making.  In my experience, it tends to be a recipe for failure.  Perhaps, this year will be different!  One can hope different in this case means better.  Here is a list of participating bloggers:

My goals for 2021 are as follows:

1  Start a Table Runner Challenge Link-Up (even if it's low-tech!)
2  Finish up LWR Quilt Drive
3  Sew a bunch of scraps
4  Finish (at least) 4 UFOs this year
5  Limit fabric purchases

Looking at the list I've shared, I think these resolutions are manageable.  The most challenging of the bunch is going to be starting the Table Runner Challenge Link-Up.  If YOU are interested in the Challenge, visit this LINK for details.

What about the PRIZE, Joyful???

If you're asking that question, you've probably visited during a previous blog hop.  Welcome back!  If you are wondering what on Earth I'm babbling about, you are in for a treat.   With each Blog Hop comes a prize offering here at The Joyful Quilter.  What better giveaway for the Stitching Resolution Blog Hop than a scrappy little Palm-Sized Pin Cushion:

How do I enter to win, Joyful???

Leave a comment with stating what color pin cushion you would like to win.  A comment name/number will be chosen at random and I will contact the winner by email.  I will mail this red pin cushion or make another Palm-Sized Pin Cushion in the color of your choice.

All entries must be received by
9 PM
on New Year's Day!!

  8. Your Table Scrap challenge sounds excellent. You need a sidebar button so everyone can have a visual and a chance to check it out. I would love to put it on the Pinterest page. Just a thought. I love your last goal, "LIMIT" fabric purchases. It doesn't cut you off from new fabric purchases, it just makes you "think" about it. Happy New Year!

  14. Sounds like a great list that should be doable. You can do it! I'm not sure I can do my goals, but I'm rooting for you! LOL Your table runner challenge sounds like a good way to involve people in something that is not overwhelming. Have a very Happy New Year, Joy!

  15. Good list. I worked on a lot of UFOs but I also decided if I finished 2 I could start a new one. I also keep track of what I am working on, and where I am at in the process.
