Throwback Thursday - More Quilts from The Quilts Show - The Ribbon Winners

Welcome back to The Joyful Quilter and another edition of Throwback Thursday!!  We usually go a bit further back in time, but today we are headed back to the Capital Quilters Guild Show from last weekend.  I shared a few photos in yesterday's Wonderful Wednesday post, but took so many quilt photos that I decided to separate out the ribbon winners.

Enjoy the eye candy!!!

Congratulations to the following winning quilts...

I captured this one for my Rainbow Scrap Challenge friends:

Along with this one for those who enjoy a modern rainbow vibe:

This one is for the cat lovers among my readers:

Here's a photo for the traditional quilt lovers out there:

Of course, I had to get a photo for the T-Quilt makers among us:

And I captured the following quilt photo for Britt:

Why, Joyful???

Because the multicolored print featured prominently in the quilt (shown right beside the show label) is the same fabric that Britt as the cover of her current tag journal project:

After seeing all the quilts in the show and reviewing the photos I took...

This might have been my favorite...

The reason is probably two-fold.  The pattern has been on my "To Make" list for quite some time and you know I absolutely LOVE scrappy quilts.  Even the ones with a constant/consistent background:

Congratulations to the following big winners...

Thanks for coming along with me to the quilt show!  I hope you enjoyed the quilts I shared.  Were there more winners?  Yes!  I just took photos of the ones that captured my attention for one reason or another.  Thank you, Capital Quilters Guild for your hard work.   It was a really good show!

Until next time...
Have fun with FABRIC!!!
