Let's see how it goes...
SUNDAY - Weekly Morning Art Zoom found me working on the WORDS prompt from Catalysts & Curiosities at the end of August...
Once that was done, I switched to working on another page in my new Collage Scraps Altered Book journal. I'm having fun with these pages:
After lunch, Knittingsuek and I met for our Weekly Zoom call...
Remember how I said that new journal was a lot of fun??? Well, later I did another page in my Collage Scraps Altered Book journal:
MONDAY - Day Off
I did some work around the house and then enjoyed my Weekly Zoom Call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
TUESDAY - Day Off
First came some early morning errands which were followed by a bit of scrap sewing. Mission accomplished! The RSC Color(s) of the Month were well represented:
Went for a quick haircut, but didn't take a photo.
WEDNESDAY - Work
Nothing to report
THURSDAY - Day Off
I intended to attend my Weekly Morning Quilt Group, but my stomach had other ideas. I was feeling better after lunch and was pleased to attend this week's Curiosity Collective instructor was @thisistruleetraci whose lesson was called Based on a TRUE Story. Here's the page I created using acrylic paint and a page from a vintage music textbook:
FRIDAY - Work/Doctor Day
There may be Knit Group today, but not for me. The foggy morning mirrored my feelings about having to miss seeing my friends to order to work my scheduled shift.
In neighborhood news...
You'll have to double click on the photo to get an idea of what was going on in the cul-de-sac this morning. There was a huge traffic jam and the final piece of the puzzle was still rumbling down the street when this photo was taken! If you look closely, you will see that we are getting more new neighbors, someone is getting a Lowe's delivery, there are a number of construction workers parked along the street, AND it's garbage day. The sanitation truck will join the fray momentarily:
Later...
Instead of Get Messy's Open Studio with Deandra, I was off to an appoint for some medical testing. I've seen DS2 take a PFT (pulmonary function test) on two occasions, but now it's my turn. This is where the test is administered...
I'm not confident that this will end well, but hopefully it will lead to help for this seemingly never-ending cough of mine. A quick photo op when the tech stepped out for the medicine to begin working for the second part of the test:
After determining there wasn't enough time to return to work, I stopped by the grocery store for a few items and when dinner was done, I headed up to the studio for my Weekly Evening Art Zoom. Britt and I arrived first...
SATURDAY - Work
It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. SEW thrilled to have a bit of Light/Bright BLUE and GREEN to show for my week!
This morning I met with Tracy for coffee and knitting. It was nice to catch up:
There may or may not be a Zoom call with Knittingsuek this afternoon. If that happens, I'll add it in. UPDATE:
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
you lived thru the test!

Oh, PFT's. So super fun! NOT. Glad you survived. I always feel like I've used all my air forever when I'm done! Hope you get good results. Loved your busy neighborhood photo with all the vehicles. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some answers from the test, Joy - the never ending cough has got to be frustrating! Glad you got a little sewing and art time in this week, too. Those always provide good therapy for what ails us!
ReplyDeleteHope the PFT provides answers that pesky cough. I'm glad you found time in the week for some creating! Goodness, that was a traffic jam indeed! --TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteTesting is never fun. Hope it provides some results for you. What a busy street! Hope this week allows a little more fun creative time for you. Have you started your TSC yet? I need to get some inspiration for that one soon.
ReplyDeleteI've endured a PFT and they are not fun by any means. Hopefully you'll get better-than-expected news. Hugs!
