Here's how the week played out...
SUNDAY - Weekly Morning Art Zoom found us all working on our Dare to Roll prompts. I merged the two sets into the following page. The only thing I missed was "found object" because the charm I meant to use was in need of re-finding:
Late this afternoon, Knittingsuek and I met for our Weekly Zoom Call:
Before dinner, I went for a walk and found what I believe to be a Gold Finch fledgling in the middle of the road. The bird had taken off from the grass at the edge of the road and landed there, apparently exhausted by the effort. I walked over to see how close I could get. The photo below was taken mere inches away! I stood in the street protecting it from oncoming traffic and picked up two big leaves in case it needed assistance. When they were a couple inches away, there was a series of chirps and the bird flew to the grass on the other side of the street. Whew! Crisis averted:
After lunch I enjoyed my Weekly Zoom Call with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color:
I worked on sorting thru my 2.5" scrap drawer to find potential additions to the quilt I was working on last weekend. There are still more pieces hiding. I just have to keep searching. These are a good start:
TUESDAY - Work
WEDNESDAY - Day Off/Doctor Day
They took me back early, did the regular weight and blood pressure tests. The pulmonologist came in, went over my file, and test results. Since my PFT was perfectly normal, she prescribed more tests for the Never-Ending-Cough. Today that meant SIX (6) vials of blood, a nebulizer treatment, and a cough test in these sample collection cups:
THURSDAY - Work
Monthly Evening Quilt Bee meet tonight with this small group in attendance:
I glued down the pieces for last week's Get Messy lesson with Marianne Burger:
FRIDAY - Work
Fortunately, no one was able to attend Knit Group today so I didn't miss anything and since I was at work, I also didn't get to hang out at Get Messy's Open Studio with Deandra.
After dinner, I headed upstairs for my Weekly Evening Art Zoom. Tonight's project was yet another page in my Collage Scraps Altered Book. I created something out of character; a page that included Light/Bright BLUE papers and even a few fabric scraps:
SATURDAY - Work
It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. I thought I might do some more sewing on last week's Light/Bright BLUE and GREEN donation quilt, but that hasn't happened yet.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
Sorry to hear the testing is still ongoing. Hope work goes well and you get a little play time today.
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating that the testing continues without any answers. I sure hope they figure out what's causing that never ending cough. My oldest daughter is a respiratory therapist and works in the pulmonary functions lab at a big hospital. They start getting even busier this time of year as flu and RSV season arrives.
