Let's see how that worked for me...
And afterwards, I quilted the 2nd half of the AQUA donation quilt that began quilting once the dishes were washed last night. It was late when I finished so I didn't stop for a photo.
Britt entertained our furry guest...
SUNDAY - Weekly Morning Art Zoom found me playing with last week's Dare to Roll prompts that I missed while traveling. I created this page in my Hangout Journal:
After lunch, I layered an AQUA donation quilt UFO...
With the quilt pinned and ready for quilting, I resumed my Weekly Zoom Call with Knittingsuek:
MONDAY - Work
Even though I worked later than normal and then had to do a grocery run, I headed upstairs to Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color once the cold items were put away:
TUESDAY - Work
And afterwards, I quilted the 2nd half of the AQUA donation quilt that began quilting once the dishes were washed last night. It was late when I finished so I didn't stop for a photo.
WEDNESDAY - Work
With the quilting complete, I squared up the quilt, made and applied the binding, but didn't take a photo. Look what was sitting in our garage when I was done, my new-to-me nearly new car to replace my sweet Toyota Matrix that I've been driving for nearly 20 years:
THURSDAY - Day Off
While I got the binding on prior to today's Weekly Morning Quilt Group meeting:
In the meantime...
I attended my meeting (and neglected to get a group photo), made a quick stop at the store and a bite to eat. After lunch, I headed upstairs for Curiosity Collective. Today's lesson was Going Wild with Helen Wells. I used a couple of magazine ads for the collage I was planning:
Since it was double meeting day...
I headed back out to attend my Monthly Evening Quilt Bee with the following members:
Britt entertained our furry guest...
And when she showed off her recently purchased Colorfall Quilt Pattern from designer Amy Friend, it made me think of my RSC Quilter friends:
FRIDAY - TABLE SCRAPS Challenge
Day Off
First up was Knit Group...
Finally!!! I was able to attend and it was so good to be back with these friends:
During this afternoon's Get Messy Open Studio with Deandra, I worked on gluing down the collage that I cut out at yesterday's Curiosity Collective:
I used my Weekly Evening Art Zoom time to prepare for tomorrow's Get Messy Season Opener and to finish the Map of Emotions lesson from earlier in the month:
SATURDAY - Work
It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.
As for me...
I did some AQUA sewing this week. This completed donation quilt included binding made from backing off-cuts:
