ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC25 - Week 32

Welcome to Week 32 of the 2025 Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week will be filled with reintegration into the real world.  Vacation is just a memory.  We're back to business as usual.  Well, that's the plan.

Here's what really happened...

SUNDAY - Travel Day

My true goodbye to PURPLE month begins today, but I couldn't resist a photo of this lovely iris print while turning in our rental car:

A grocery restock, a nap, but before those, there was a small bit of AQUA art journaling on the airplane to document our trip:

MONDAY - Day Off

I spent the morning resting and met with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color after lunch to resume our weekly Zoom calls:

TUESDAY - Day Off

Today's tasks included a deli stop and a trip to the donation center.  My closet is several items lighter now.

WEDNESDAY - Day Off

I had planned to do some AQUA scrap sewing, but Knittingsuek invited me to meet her new puppy.  Here we are with Penny the Cockapoo:

THURSDAY - Work

No photos to show, so I thought I'd share what I missed at last week's Monthly Evening Quilt Bee meeting.  I was happy to see (thanks to Maggie) that Stacy's project included a scrap of AQUA, but sadly there was no group photo available:

FRIDAY - Work

During my Weekly Evening Art Zoom, there was a great debate (in my head) about what I should work on.  I started small by completing another AQUA page in the tiny journal I took on vacation with me...

Next, I added a gel print to my large Roll Off journal...

Then, since I'm not quite done with ICAD, I made the following card, my interpretation of the MARQUEE prompt:

After the meeting, Britt and I remained for a short chat:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

No Zooming with Knittingsuek today because of our group's Sew Day.  Sorry!  No photos because I ended up having to miss the event.  :o((

Until next time...

  1. Hope you had a great vacation, Joy! There's always lots to do when you come home again, isn't there? Fingers crossed you can get some art and sewing time squeezed in there, too!

  3. So much aqua in your week even if you didn't sew it! That's fun to be intentional about the color.

  4. What a creative way to keep a travel journal AND do a teal project as a 2 for 1.
