Welcome to Week 47 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! It's been a week. I didn't keep up with daily entries and now I'm out of town for the weekend.
Here's all I've got for you...
Monday - Quilt Guild meeting and guess who won a door prize?!
Thursday - I sewed:
That was after zooming with LeeAnna at Not Afraid of Color:
What were you sewing, Joyful???
A mask (straight out of the scrap bins) to vaguely coordinate with the dress I bought for my niece's wedding:
Choosing shoes (that my feet would tolerate) was another adventure:
The rest of the week was filled with appointments and work. Thank goodness DS2 is doing all the grocery shopping!!
Have a great weekend! Please find the links. I didn't bring my computer and haven't been able to attach them. I'll add them when I get home.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
Some weeks are just too busy - probably to balance out those weeks we have nothing interesting going on. LOL Enjoy your weekend away!
ReplyDeleteYour dress is very nice and you look good in it. My fifth grade teacher taught us how to stand properly so who taught you? All these stars and models that are completely crossing their legs look like they need to go to the bathroom.lol. Love to read your blog. I get tired sometimes just reading about all you get done.
ReplyDeleteYowza…you look gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! Have fun at the wedding. Does DS2 cook as well? A skill everyone should learn... and makes it easier on you!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in that dress and heels!
ReplyDeleteyou look all lovely - hope you are having fun
ReplyDeleteYou're certainly on the go these days. And working too? Full time or part time? What are you doing? I know how a job cuts into sewing time, and social time. Still, I'm glad for you to have a get-away for a wedding that's been postponed too many times! Hope you have lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteLook at you, gorgeous gal! Looove the outfit...but sadly I'd last maybe 20 minutes in heels that high. I hope you snuck a more comfy pair in the car with you, and that you had a terrific time!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely weekend! A mask to go with your dress for the wedding is a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeletewowza! you look so pretty! Heels... nope... I'd be wearing birks I think... sadly
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in your dress and heels! I haven't worn heels since our daughter's wedding in 2014, and I had to take them off that night 5 minutes after I put them on - lol!
ReplyDeleteFun to see you all dressed up! Hope you had a good time getting together with family & friends!
ReplyDeleteNice new dress--it looks very nice on you!
