Welcome to Week 28 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! This week...
On SUNDAY, I found that I had missed a post from Friday when Angela posted:
Rainbow Scrap Challenge Sampler 2016 July Block and since July is the height of summer, it's an easy one!
Here's my HOT PINK for the day:
My HOT (PINK) little hands, taming an overgrown azalea...
on an AMAZING 70 degree July day in the South.
Seriously... only 70 degrees!!
MONDAY was Independance Day in the US. Happy 4th of July, everyone!! I spent the day with my family, as we worked on a home renovation project:
The HOT PINK sighting for the day is shown in the photo above... painting these four walls. YUCK!!!
On TUESDAY, the girls' school was closed , so today was my turn to watch them. We saw HOT PINK at the Mall...
HOT PINK socks really ROCK!!!
... Where we spent some time at Kidzu Children's Museum:
The only quilt related item that I completed was posting the results of the Spring 2016 (Ravelry) UFO Club. If YOU are on Ravelry, be sure to stop by the Quilters Knitting Group because the Summer 2016 UFO Club is now underway.
WEDNESDAY was spent with "my" girls. All I managed to do was add the last few pieces to this (mainly) HOT PINK binding for my Calico Rick Rack Quilt:
Even some (not quite lime) green accents!!
On THURSDAY, I thought that I would miss my weekly Quilt Group meeting. :o((
It turned out that I was able to attend for a short while. :o))
Just long enough for Show and Tell:
Hey! There's HOT PINK it in!!!
The majority of FRIDAY was spent with a friend. However, following my visit, I spent some time digging through my HOT PINK scraps in a WATERMELON PINK fabric basket:
On SATURDAY, we will celebrate DS2's 18th birthday, but while he slept in, I headed out to my monthly Quilt Bee meeting. Whether before or after, I will join Angela's LINK PARTY over on her So Scrappy Blog. I'm not sure when I'll be able to check out what all of the other RSC Quilters have been up to, but that is one of the highlights of EVERY week!!
You go on ahead. I'll catch up later. There's sure to be some wonderful HOT PINK pics!
Until next time...
Get Scrappy!!!
You had a HOT PINK week!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have had a productive week in painting and such. Time with the kids is always well spent. And hot pink has been on your brain and fingernails, so every bit counts. Have a fun week!
ReplyDeleteEvery bit of pink counts! (So says the woman with very few pink scraps...)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you kept plenty busy for the week, sewing or not. Go you!
Almost bought some hot pink FQs today just so I would have some to work with but even at $1 the quality wasn't worth it.
ReplyDeleteLove all your hot pink sightings for the week! Hope you get some sewing time coming up this week!
ReplyDeleteHot pinks are everywhere -- fun sightings.
ReplyDeleteA busy week. Hope you get in a bit more stitching time this next week.
