ScrapHappy Saturday - RSC25 - Week 40

Welcome to Week 40 of the 2025 Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week is booked with work, errands, and a project with an approaching deadline.  Will it also include some Light and/or Dark NUETRAL scrap sewing?

Read on to see how my week panned out...

SUNDAY - Weekly Morning Art Zoom met this morning and I put this page together in my Collage Scraps Altered Book:

Right after lunch, I went upstairs for September's Scrap Club meeting where Kristen announced our new group quilt project:

During the meeting I worked on another page in my Collage Scraps Altered Book:

(Yesterday and) this afternoon I watched the Sampler Platter from Global Quilt Connection:

Thank you to GQC and my local quilt guild for the opportunity to view the wide range of demonstrations hosted during the Sampler Platter!

MONDAY - Day Off

Zoom with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color before heading out to run an errand:

TUESDAY - Day Off

During the midday, I attended the Second Time Around hangout with Barb at Get Messy.  Remarkably enough, only Debbie and I were in attendance:

Yet another page in my Collage Scraps Altered Book kept my hands occupied while we chatted:

Work

The MPG on my new car hit a record after today's fuel up:

THURSDAY - Work

LOOK!!!  A bit of NEUTRAL scrap sewing happened this afternoon as I switched from this section to another on a soon-to-be completed project:

FRIDAY - Work

While chatting with Britt and three other participants at tonight's Weekly Evening Art Zoom...

I worked on the following page in my Collage Scraps Altered Book:

SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!  I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week.

During the Opening for the Season of Inspir-ACTION at Get Messy, I stamped, stenciled, and selected an image for the moving part of my page. I'll be sure to share again once it's been completed.  You will barely recognize the photo below when you next see it:

No Zoom with Knittingsuek today.  I guess she was too tired from taking her puppy to the neighborhood dog park.  Maybe tomorrow.

Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
