Welcome to Week 3 of the 2022 Rainbow Scrap Challenge!! What happened to this week?
Let's take a look...
SUNDAY - Yesterday, I Zoomed with Knittingsuek:
Project QUILTING's 2nd challenge of Season 13 was released today. Do YOU PQ??? I do! Find the particulars for Challenge 13.2 HERE?!:
MONDAY - I was busy working in the studio, but took a moment to pull out my RED scrap basket for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge:
Have I fallen behind on the 2022 Stay at Home Round Robin (SAHRR)? Nope! (At least, not yet.) It's hosted by Gail @ Quilting Gail and some of her friends. It's not too late for YOU to join in the fun! Find the Round One prompt posted by Anja @ Anja Quilts:
This was the view down my street not long after I got home:
TUESDAY - The decluttering in the new studio continues with Karen @ Just Get It Done Quilts. Find this week's update in THIS POST:
WEDNESDAY - This afternoon, I released a NEW POST in the Guest Blogger(s) series. Don't miss our new contributor!
Stay tuned to see if this North Carolina state outline develops into anything...
THURSDAY - I stayed home most of the day. Laundry and other household chores occupied my morning, but as afternoon turned to evening, I spent some time with LeeAnna @ Not Afraid of Color. You will have to ignore the hat, as it was a "bad hair day" for reasons:
Friday - Work was slow today so I was happy to get home and have a bit of studio time before dinner. Before bed, something magical occurred in our neighborhood. Tiny snowflakes were falling:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge! I hope you will join me in visiting Angela @ So Scrappy to see what the RSC Quilters have been up to this week. I'm sure you will see some lovely RED projects.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!
Another busy week with progress on this and that. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty pile of reds there, Joy! Looking forward to seeing your PQ project and the SAHRR, too. Lots of fun things to work on!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what the round robin will turn into! Enjoy those snow flakes.... speaking of which I got an idea for a table topper so I'm off to give it a go!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful red basket, and pretty fabrics too. I love the sheeps ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the snowy landscape!
I am intrigued by the NC panel and can't wait to see what it turns into! Also love the snowy landscape, but I know that gets old fast.
ReplyDeletepossibly more snow than we got in colorado
ReplyDeleteanother busy and productive week Joy... I'm trying to sew seashells (not by the seashore) today and it's not going well...
I love your weekly recaps! I’m thinking of doing one more scrap basket -in your method. When we all originally did them a couple years ago, I only did one blue. That is definitely inadequate. xo
ReplyDeletethe snow is pretty once you are home-I remember that well. I'm intrigued to see what you do with the state outline!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like winter wonderland where you live. Plenty of red scraps to choose from in your basket.
