Here's how the week flowed...
SUNDAY - I did a little bit of laundry, a little bit of catching up on blog posts, and a whole lot of napping!
MONDAY - Worked on a Secret Santa project. Sorry! No photos.
TUESDAY - Not much going on today. Although, my evening Quilt Bee tried something new... A 2nd meeting during the month. I got some pressing and trimming:
I also cut a stack of batting scraps for another secret project:
WEDNESDAY - Knit Group was followed by a hair appointment.
The evening was spent finishing the quilting on this Donation Quilt:
THURSDAY - I was hoping to get to my Weekly Quilt Bee for a visit. Alas, that didn't fit into my day. :o((
FRIDAY - Is it just me or are the weeks passing quicker than they used to?!
Forgetting that it was the Friday before Thanksgiving, I went to the grocery store this afternoon. That was a really BAD idea!!! Everyone and their grandmother was there.
I also ripped out half of one sleeve on my Hoodie Shawl Cardigan, as I had been striping the wrong colors:
SATURDAY - It's LINK PARTY day over on the So Scrappy blog. Head over to see the rainbow scrappy finishes that are sure to be happening.
Until next time...
Get SCRAPPY!!!
Sounds like a pretty full week. Hope this week slows down enough that you can enjoy your family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy week. Thanksgiving is sneaking up on us all. Hopefully you got everything you needed at the grocery so you don’t have to brave the crowds again.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty bunch of scraps you're working with there! I'll look forward to seeing what your secret sewing turns into!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the sweater sleeve needing to be ripped out. I know from sad experience how that is, but at least you are brave enough to just do it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your hands always look so great in your photos. Happy Thanksgiving!

If you thought Friday at the grocery was bad, go today! I waited in the checkout line almost 15 minutes. Lots of secret sewing going on here, too.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Walking pneumonia? I hope you’re feeling much better.
ReplyDeleteI had to go to Walmart today, unavoidably, and the parking lot was packed. Also, I was perplexed that all the Thanksgiving supplies were gone, with only Christmas in sight!
Walking pneumonia! Bless your heart. I had that when I was in my early 30's and I thought I might die. Taking breaths was difficult. Slept most all the time for a few weeks. Exhausted for a few months. Take care of yourself. Pneumonia is serious stuff. I'll be thinking about you, dear.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I knew you were sick but walking pneumonia! Take care of yourself and get better. Let the guys pamper you a bit - you deserve it.
ReplyDeletePretty rainbow scraps!!!
