Angie at Quilting on the Crescent suggested that I send a post card, so here it is from hot and sticky North Carolina.
... And cutting for my Scrap Jar Star blocks, in BLUE:
The Sapphire (BLUE!) Star Mystery from Kevin the Quilter also occupied some of my time for Clue #1:
MONDAY - Knit Group, nails, and MORE fabric cutting! The nails, of course, are BLUE and are decorated with fireworks for the holiday tomorrow:
I also posted the Summer 2017 (Ravelry) UFO Club results. You can read about our productivity HERE.

TUESDAY - Happy Birthday, America!! Hope all of my readers in the US of A enjoyed a BBQ and some fireworks today. If not, I hope a needle and some thread kept you occupied (while I was sweating my butt off in the 80* heat. And let's not forget the (disgusting!) humidity that does absolute WONDERS for my hair!!
Before heading off to my family celebration at the in-laws, I posted this week's Tutorial Tuesday post. Feel free to go have a look. I'll meet you back here for tomorrow's entry.

WEDNESDAY - Hey!! Guess what I did today? MORE quilting!!
It was another Sew Day at my friend Diane's house. Want to see what I accomplished?
I drew lines and sewed light blue squares to royal blue squares:
Then I did the same with the dark blue squares:
I returned home to find that Alycia had released the fabric requirements for the A6 Mystery Quilt. Time to go see what the stash has to say!!
The stash has spoken and hopefully, Alycia will chime in:
Ignore the pink on the right. There will only be enough for binding (providing it would work for that part of the quilt-to-be.)

THURSDAY - Although, my staycation was extended for a few days with the holiday, it is well and truly over and it's back to the weekly routine. I didn't even get up to the sewing room when I got home. I was TOO tired to see straight. :o((
FRIDAY - Another day, another trip to help my friend. Hoped for an early afternoon... along with some MORE sewing time, but that wasn't the case. All I managed was marking a bit of (double) sewing on my Sapphire Star Mystery this evening. Because, bonus triangle squares:
Thank you, Bonnie Hunter, for my Bonus Buddy ruler!!
SATURDAY - How on EARTH did it get to be LINK PARTY day already?? This summer is flying by!
I'm headed over to Needleb's for a Sew Day with my Quilt Bee. I'll catch up with the RSC Quilters this evening or sometime tomorrow. Enjoy the BLUE projects in the works.
