Welcome to Week 51 of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge!!  This week had some have to do items, some want to do items, and some unexpected items on the list.

Prompt Set One - Stripes, water-soluble crayon or pencil & activate it, "ransom note" title or word on your page/spread, collage AND Prompt Set Two - blind contour drawing, stencil, cross

I'm really glad that Britt and I chatted for a while when everyone else had gone about their day, as she solved the mystery of my missing paint brushes.  They are are her house!  We smiled for the camera:

After lunch and a brief nap, I went upstairs to Zoom with Knittingsuek:

What?!?!

Things are crazy busy and I offered yesterday afternoon.  My manager responded with a resounding "Yes, please."  So here I am at my desk ready for the onslaught of calls:

 My manager offered a heartfelt, "Thank you for coming in." at the end of the day and there were donuts for everyone in the breakroom: 

THURSDAY - Day Off

(Weekly) Quilt Group with the following quilters in attendance:

Britt gifted me this tiny journal that she made from a Mild Duds box from Halloween.  Thank, B, it's adorable!  She's the one who is talented in working with miniature collage, so I'm not sure how I will do the book justice:

My SIL is visiting so...

I was able to present those small slippers that Tracy made for this special bear:

FRIDAY - Knit Group?  Nope!  I'm headed to WORK the doctor today.  After stomach pain for 3 days, it's well past time to figure out what's going on and this was the first step.  Perhaps, the referral for the gastroenterologist will shed some light on the subject (in not too many months.)

In neighborhood construction news, ANOTHER house sold this week.  This will be occupied house number four once this one and the previous one close:

At my Weekly Evening Art Zoom I worked on the journal page that I wasn't able to continue yesterday afternoon during the Get Messy Winging It hangout.  Our host offered 4 prompt cards (journaling, color, technique, and medium cards) for attendees to work from and the following page is where I went - without completely obliterating my notes:

Thanks to Britt, who made the sleeve for me when I found that I couldn't cut a straight line with this broken finger, I had some scrap sewing to do.  Look for more on this in an upcoming post:

It wasn't easy and my finger was VERY ANGRY with me by the time I was done!!

Might it have something to do with next week's TABLE SCRAPS Challenge Link Party?  Could be, but you will have to wait and see.  My apologies for the suspense.  All will be revealed in good time.
