Sew Some Love Sunday - #QuiltForVegas

Welcome to another edition of Sew Some Love Sunday!!  Last Saturday, my quilt bee had a Sew Day.  Always a fun time, but during the event we had some work to do.

Fueled with coffee...

... And a selection of fabric strips:

Members of my local Quilt Bee...

Got busy creating Grayscale blocks...

For victims and first responders in the recent attack in Las Vegas:

Enough blocks for one quilt...

... Sans heart to symbolize our love...

... And a good start on a second quilt:

Complete with design options...

... And a collection of fabrics for the needed quilt blocks:

I plan to join Kat's Sew Some Love LINK-UP this week.  Stop by to see what other charitable works are being done.

Until next time...
Desperate times call for quilted measures!!!

  1. Looks like you got a good start on the donation blocks. Looks like you all had way too much fun.

  2. Lots of wonderful blocks completed here. Well done.
    Cheers, Karen

  3. Many hands make light work..well done!

  4. How wonderful to work on these blocks as a group! I wish there was no need to make them, though.

  5. Great community quilt, Sew cheerful!

  6. Great looking blocks. They will make lovely, cheery quilts.

  7. Many hands! Your efforts will be 'sew' appreciated!
