The Guest Blogger(s) - Vol. 41 - Trekking Thru the Selvages

Welcome to another edition of The Guest Blogger(s)!!  Sandra/Trek15 was on a roll after last month's Challenge entry.

She wrote the following in her post on Ravelry...

Over the weekend I made five more themed placemats with selvedges.  This is so much fun and I’m using all the leftover bits of batting too:

Apparently, admitting that actually ended up lighting a fire under her to get busy.  SEW very busy!!!  Sorry for taking such a long time to release your post.

Give Sandra's PURPLE project (and friends) some quilty love in the comments below.  I know that you enjoyed seeing them.  I certainly did!  Thank you for sending these photos for the blog, Sandra.  I appreciate you sharing your these small quilts so that others may be inspired to use their fabric AND batting scraps, too!

Link Party REMINDER...

The July party starts TOMORROW!!! Friday, July 29th @ 12:01 AM and through Monday, August 1st @ 11:59 PM.  At this posting, you still have the weekend to start and maybe even finish a PURPLE and/or Circle-y, spotty, dotty project of your own.  Will YOU join in the scrappy fun?

Until next time...
SEW those table scraps!!!

  1. Congrats, Sandra, on those fun selvedge placemats. I cut mine so narrow to save as much fabric as I can that they aren't worth much, or would be so informative or colorful. Yours are very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
