Throwback Thursday - Another Winter 2026 UFO Club Finish - Four Patch Posies/The Collaborative Donation Quilt

Welcome to another edition of Throwback Thursday here at The Joyful Quilter!!  Every completed UFO deserves its own individual post. That's what I'm here to share today.

Here's the story...

These are the blocks that were made by my friend Candy during a 4-Patch with my friend Britt a number of years ago:

They are so cute, but seem to need a little bit of breathing room...

Or maybe a good bit of breathing room with an on-point setting:

Hmm...  Which would YOU choose???

On-point or a straight set are the options:

I decided on the on-point setting...

But...

Found that I needed a bit of a fabric infusion for the background:

And the binding, too:

The rows came together easily...

And I only messed up on two of the four corner triangles:

Soon the top was together...

It was ready to deliver to Britt for quilting:

I used part of my recent Sew Day event to complete the binding:

Approximately 40" x 50"

Special thanks to...

My friend Candy for sharing her blocks with me.
Marsha's stash for the solid fabrics.
My friend Britt for her fabric contribution and quilting.

What a wonderful collaboration.  Quilting friends are THE BEST!!!  This quilt will be donated at an upcoming Quilt Guild meeting in support of one our charity programs.

Until next time...
Mark another UFO off the list!!
